- Guilty Pleasures - Wednesday, October 11, 2006 i love chocolate. i "would drink chocolate" if i could according to lindsay's brilliant insight on this topic. chocolate tastes so good because its bad. bad can be measured in terms of guilt. and feeling guilty is never good unless you just ate chocolate. cadbury knows it: wouldn't it be nice if the world was cadbury? you could surf inside a chocolate tube ride the waves from now until forever wipeout and never get a bruise and if a shark comes up and tries to bite you you could say "i'm chocolate! IIIIIIIII invite you!" wouldn't it be nice? that poetry needs to be belted out loud and proud to the beat of the beach boys melody (if your having trouble getting it right, lindsay does a fine rendition with animated jazz hands). since the two of us have been getting out of control with this matter (chocolate eating, not the singing) we have deceided its time to step up and end the maddness and midnight cravings--but not before we had dixie act as concierge and bring us one last dose of delightful darkness. chocolate withdrawl begins now {sigh}
