- ROADTRIP! - Sunday, October 29, 2006 last night we took a little drive to lethbridge to watch a fightcard and support the calgary fighters. remy quite enjoyed himself and the bouts although he conked out before the event was finished (but were not complaining!). besides the actual fights there was also sideshow entainment and it was awesome. with halloween being right around the corner some people chose to sport costumes, and adults wearing costumes is funny stuff. but adults wearing costumes and also being ring guys/gals is halarious. typically ring girls always get the hoots and hollas no matter how trashy or NON-trashy they look and the ring boys most definately always get booed hardcore, with the exception of last night. these guys dressed up as emt's with aviators and fake stashes took turns jumping in the ring between each round and would play up the crowd by doing shadow boxing while holding the round number card. the wannabe kokanee girls didn't even hold a candle to the emt's and they were in uber trashy garments. gooooood stuff. remy isn't even two months old and this was already his second time at the fights. this kid definatley won't be an amateur for long...and maybe next time we'll even take a picture with the ring in sight!! lol.
