i've been a little bit busy with a small do-it-yourself home project the past 2 weeks and therefore unavailable to keep up with other rituals such as the blog posting. i bet there were many attempts made by some avid readers and they often clicked away feeling disappointed, sorry about that ;) jk
my home reno dates back to may when we first moved into our home. we spent a vigorous 13 days painting the entire pad (even after calling in recruits) and then we both swore off painting for the rest of our lives.
very shortly after tho, we thought the house could possibly use a little more color, especially in the kitchen. i took one for the team and bought some paint and a few rollers. it was supposed to be a quick and easy paint job on only 2 walls of our kitchen but the splash of color made such awesome eye candy that the other 2 walls pretty much painted themselves! as a reward 2 new beautiful pictures were purchased to add the perfect touch. after seeing how good things were looking i was so motivated i couldn't just stop there, my kitchen was begging for change. so onto the patio and window trim. finito! ...ceramic tile? SURE!! (actually i can't take credit for that idea, it was mona's and i had to solicit help from my mom) it might've taken a second go at it to get it right but it was worth the blood, sweat and tears, seriously.
and so these pictures tell the tale of my past 2 weeks and our kitchen's make-over.
Wow the kitchen looks so good. You will be ready to tackle another project soon!! You were so right, I kept checking your blog to see the finished product!
